NEW! "Plus One" Memberships (beginning September 1st)
Thanks to all the great member and visitor input, inspiring this new flexible option.
The "Plus One" membership allows you to bring a guest for free each time you visit! ...a cousin, neighbor,
grandparent, caregiver/babysitter -- the choice is yours! Of course, additional guests are always welcome
too, at regular admission price. The "Plus One" membership replaces the Caregiver Add-On, allowing
additional flexibility. You can upgrade your membership to a "Plus One" at anytime.

Tips & Benefits
- Your membership is valid for twelve months beginning the day you join (memberships are immediately entered into the system).
- Discovery Center memberships are "green." With our electronic sign-in, you do not need a
membership card. However, if you would like a card, we are happy to print one for you -- please let
us know the next time you are here.
- Members receive an "update" email each month regarding upcoming programming, activities and events.
- Members are invited to special member-only events and exhibit "sneak peeks" several times a year.
- Members receive 10% off camps, birthday parties and the Discovery Shop.

National Changes in the Reciprocal Membership Policy (Effective April 2013)
In 2013, the benefits of the reciprocal program change, reflecting a new national policy set by
the Association of Children's Museums. After April 2013, reciprocal members will receive a 50% discount
on admission to participating children's museums for up to six people on your membership.
Until that time, reciprocal members receive free admission to participating children's museums
for up to four people on your membership.
If you would like to upgrade to a reciprocal membership, your family membership will automatically
be renewed, pro-rated through the date you upgrade, providing a full year of benefits. Reciprocal members
should receive a letter from KCDC for admittance to other ACM museums. If you have not received a letter,
please let us know and we will mail one to you right away. Learn More
