Join us for Advisors Excel Free Family Fun Night at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center on Thursday, May 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come explore the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, a special place where children can create, discover and learn through play. The Discovery Center features 15,000 square feet of indoor educational play, including science, careers, building, and art. Special areas for infants and toddlers let even the littlest explorers adventure. Kids can get outside in a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom. Masks covering the mouth and nose are required inside the Discovery Center for visitors age 2 and up in alignment with guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We understand that some guests may be unable to utilize face masks and we offer reasonable accommodation by allowing the use of an approved, clear face shield. Mask policies will be strictly enforced by Discovery Center staff for the safety of guests, our staff, and the community. We will instruct visitors who do not follow these requirements to leave the museum.

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center cares deeply about its employees and visitors and is taking new measures that focus on health and safety in response to COVID-19. Our goal is to reduce the risks to you, other visitors, and our staff. Nonetheless, COVID-19 is very contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public environment where people are present. Those visiting the museum do so at their own risk of exposure.
