The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center opened on June 1, 2011 to great enthusiasm following years of dedicated effort by founding donors. In the years since, the Discovery Center has become a celebrated children’s museum where children can explore, create, discover and learn through play. The museum has hosted visitors from all 50 states and 23 countries.
