Kids can vote on Tuesday, November 5 from 9 to 3 at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center! Kid voters will get to fill out a ballot designed for young children and get an “I Voted” sticker. Kids will vote on their favorite Discovery Center science program, with the winning program to be held on the following Saturday, November 9 at 10:30 and 1:30. Museum admission is not required to vote, but it is required to enter the museum galleries.

This program is supported by the Shawnee County Election Office and Kids Voting USA, a nonpartisan, grassroots-driven voter education program committed to creating lifelong voting habits in children, increasing family communication about citizenship, and encouraging greater adult voter turnout.

This is also a voting day for grown-ups, who can find their polling places and get other election information at www.snco.us/election/.
