Mitten Challenge with LEGO® Bricks @ Kansas Children's Discovery Center

Engineering is all about finding the right tool for the job, and it’s difficult to build small things when your tools are too big! Take the LEGO® bricks mitten challenge and build a brick structure while wearing mittens at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center on Thursday, May 30 at 10:30 and 1:30. Program from the the National Informal STEM Education Network. Build, test and improve during the final days of Travel Adventure featuring LEGO® bricks, which leaves the Discovery Center on June 1.

Also see what you can build with LEGO® bricks in Travel Adventure, open through until June 1. This amazing exhibit created by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis the invites children and families to use one of the greatest building materials of all time – LEGO® bricks – as a vehicle for imagination. Where do you want to go? What does your vehicle need to do to get there? In Travel Adventure, you’re not just along for the ride! Choose an amazing destination and build your dream machine! Exhibit locally sponsored by Bartlett and West.

Regular admission applies, which is $7.75 for children and adults, $6.75 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and KCDC members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
