Join us for special holiday hours in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 17, at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center.
The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During that time, you can learn about Dr. King’s dream that one day his community and country would be free of racial justice and write your own dream for your family, community and country on our dream clouds. Put your cloud on our wall to help create a Dr. King museum display and watch your dreams soar! Listen to Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech while you work.
Regular admission applies, which is $9 for children and adults, $8 for seniors and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, with more than 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5-acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom. Masks are currently required indoors for all guests ages 2 and up.
