Planet Party Week: Jupiter's Wacky Wind @ Kansas Children's Discovery Center

Jupiter, the gas giant, is full of wacky weather! High winds, cyclones and storms bigger than Earth are all just another day on Jupiter. Think like a scientist to design, create and test a paper craft to survive a wind tube on Friday, June 28 at 10:30 and 1:30. This astronomical activity is part of Planet Party Week at Discovery Space, a special summer exhibit that invites you to experience out-of-this-world fun! Climb aboard the rocket ship, contact mission control, dress up for a space race and learn about the science of space at the Discovery Center through August 14.

Regular admission applies, which is $7.75 for children and adults, $6.75 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and KCDC members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
