Snowfest: Rigamajig @ Kansas Children's Discovery Center

Make a sled, make a pair of winter boots for a giant, make a reindeer, or anything you can dream up with Rigamajig at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center on Saturday, January 19 at 10:30 and 1:30. Rigamajig is a large-scale building kit for children conceived for hands-on free play and learning. This collection of wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts and bolts allow children to follow their curiosity while playing, and explore concepts in science, engineering, and art. These awesome building tools, purchased thanks to the generosity of the Women’s Fund, are usually out in the community for our outreach programming, so be sure to catch them during this special on-site KCDC appearance!

This program is a part of Snowfest, happening the whole month of January at the museum. Join us for snow much fun!

Regular admission applies, which is $7.75 for kids and adults, $6.75 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and KCDC members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
