Bring Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail (don’t forget Peter!) to the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center November 30 – December 3. On Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. we’ll be celebrating the book If The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter as part of Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites, a special exhibit at the Discovery Center through January 2, 2023.
Storyland immerses children and adults in favorite picture books. In the Peter Rabbit section of Storyland, children can explore Peter Rabbit’s verdant world, rich with opportunities for building vocabulary and narrative skills while having fun with patterns, words, and dramatic play. Enter and explore Peter’s family home and tuck Peter in for a bedtime story, sort oversized vegetables in Mr. McGregor’s garden, and more.
Regular admission applies. Admission also lets you play all day at the Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom and special space for babies and toddlers to explore.
