Bison Box with FHDC

January 27th from 11 am – 3 pm

Native Americans relied on the Bison to provide food, shelter, clothing and tools. The Bison Box, presented by the Flint Hills Discovery Center, contains a collection of items made from Bison and used by native tribes.

Educators from the Flint Hills Discovery Center will be onsite to share how Indigenous peoples used all parts of a bison for food, tools and shelter to avoid waste. Examples tools will be available for families to explore from 11 am – 3 pm.
