In the News: Kansas Children’s Discovery Center unveils new Mobile Museum at 7th birthday party

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is going out on the road. Since it opened in 2011, youngsters have needed to personally visit the children’s museum in Gage Park to experience its offerings of what executive director Dene’ Mosier describes as “learning disguised as fun.” But at a celebration Friday, the Discovery Center unveiled its new “Mobile Museum” capable of delivering those adventures to children at off-site locations, including schools, birthday parties and after-hours events.
