A big shoutout to the 7th and 8th graders from Mater Dei who spent time volunteering with us at the Discovery Center!

They did a little bit of everything! From helping reset the floor during a busy field trip, to sweeping out the Pirate Ship and Tree House, to tackling lots of sanitizing in high-touch areas throughout the space and more. Their positivity and willingness to jump in wherever needed did not go unnoticed.

Our staff was especially impressed with how well they divided and conquered tasks with both teamwork and independence.

We are so grateful for their energy, enthusiasm, and helping hands. They made a big difference for our staff and visitors!
