We’d like to give a big thank you to the Topeka Zoo High School Teen Camp for spending part of their day helping us care for the Discovery Center pond and stream. The group worked hard by removing weeds, and and debris. It was a big job, and they tackled it with great attitudes and a willingness to help wherever they were needed. Our outdoor spaces are an important part of the Discovery Center, and volunteer projects like this help keep our spaces beautiful, safe, clean and ready for children and families to explore.
