About the Music Garden
Little musicians will find plenty of unique sounds to explore in the music garden. Metal drums, swirl chimes, a mahogany xylophone, and a giant gong create this nine-piece garden of bright, charming sounds that echo through the outdoor area.
Fun Facts
The mahogany xylophone is made from sustainably harvested African Mahogany in the tradition of the Amadinda, a popular instrument in historic Uganda with a significant influence on music in the region. The colorful chimasaur is made of a repurposed propane tank with specially tuned pipes and bars attached. The Music Garden opened in July of 2014.
