The party room includes eight child tables with chairs, ten grownup chairs, two gift tables, one full-size refrigerator with freezer, two sinks and one trash can. Restrooms are conveniently located directly across from the party room.

Full payment is due at the time of booking. If you need to cancel more than 7 days in advance of the party, you may receive a refund minus a 50% nonrefundable booking fee. Failure to notify of cancellation at least 3 days prior to the party date will result in forfeiture of the full payment. Contact us for information about rescheduling.

Guests check in under the birthday child’s name. A team member will be at the front desk to escort them to the party room. If the group is early, they will be invited to play until the designated in-room party time.

Your two hours in the party room includes your setup and pack up time. Please schedule your party accordingly if you would like extra time for decorating.

No problem! You can pay regular admission, currently $9 plus tax, for any additional guests. Please note that the party room capacity is 46.

Absolutely! Decorations may be attached to the orange panels in each room with the push pins provided. Tape and other adhesives are not allowed on any walls in the Discovery Center. Your two hours in the party room includes your decoration and pack up time. Please schedule your party accordingly if you would like extra time for decorating.

The Discovery Center does not allow piñatas.

Yes, outside food is always welcome at the Discovery Center, but must be consumed in our party room or café area, not in the galleries. Discovery Center birthdays do not include food.

You are welcome to assist with pick-up of trash and leftover refreshments, but the Discovery Center provides staff to clean up and prepare the room for the next birthday party. There is a trash can located in the party room for your convenience.

Guests of your party are welcome to unlimited play the day of your party while the Discovery Center is open. With over 15,000 square feet of indoor education exhibits, including science, careers, building, art, and a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom, your guests will find plenty to do!

Absolutely not, your guests are our guests! All play and programs at the Discovery Center are included in the price of admission. Your guests won’t have to reload game cards or buy more play time to enjoy your party. Their admission is good all day, before or after the party.

There is often a party scheduled before and/or after yours, so we ask for your help in arriving and departing the party room on time.
