BriggsAuto.com Renews Support for Military Families

Much is expected of our nation’s military, and BriggsAuto.com gives back, with support for the BriggsAuto.com Military Discount at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center. BriggsAuto.com has renewed support for this discount for the second year, allowing thousands of annual visitors, both children and their caregivers, to enjoy a day of play and learning at a discounted rate. Serving retired and active duty military, the discount is a way BriggsAuto.com and the Discovery Center are showing their appreciation to our nation’s heroes.

The Discovery Center is a hands-on children’s museum with a mission to enhance the lives of children and enrich the communities it serves. Since opening in 2011 in Topeka, Kansas, the Discovery Center has become a special place where children can explore, create, discover and learn through play. The museum features over 15,000 square feet of indoor exhibits and a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.

This program is one of many to ensure museum access for all children. More than one in three Discovery Center admissions are free or discounted, including over 1,000 annual Museums for All admissions for families receiving TANF or WIC and more than 5,000 field trip visitors from schools with a high percentage of children receiving free or reduced-cost lunches. Special programs serve children with incarcerated mothers, medically fragile children, children with autism, and children in foster care. The nonprofit museum depends on BriggsAuto.com and other community partners to ensure quality play experiences for every child, strengthening families and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Thank you to BriggsAuto.com for supporting families!
