Kids can vote at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center from October 20 to November 3 in our pop-up Kids Vote experience!

The exhibit, inside the Hall of Bright Ideas, helps children and families explore the voting process. Through hands-on activities, stories, and a realistic polling place, kids can discover what elections are, who makes decisions in our communities, how votes are counted, and why every vote matters.

Kid voters will get to choose new puppets for the theater and receive an "I Voted" sticker! A special thank you to the Shawnee County Election Office for sharing their expertise and helping ensure our exhibit accurately reflects the real voting process in our community. For adult voter information, visit www.snco.gov/election/ or https://www.ksvotes.org/

Regular admission applies, which is $11 for children and adults, $10 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 30,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom and special space for babies and toddlers to explore.
