Discovery Kindergarten is a free, fun program for incoming kindergarten students from any school. Children will get to come to the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with their caregiver when the facility is normally closed for a special learning playtime. Participants can explore a simulated kindergarten classroom with teachers and learn how to prepare for first day at school. Caregivers will get tips on developing skills at home. Discovery Kindergarten dates for 2025 are:
+ Monday, June 23, 4-6 p.m.
+ Monday, June 30, 4-6 p.m.
+ Monday, July 14, 4-6 p.m.
+ Monday, July 21, 4-6 p.m.
+ Monday, July 28, 4-6 p.m. (this session presented in both Spanish and English)

All sessions are the same and families only need to attend one session. Sessions are free but advance registration is required.
