Join us Friday, October 2 at the Kansas Children's Discovery Center as we celebrate the history of Topeka’s beloved Gage Park! In honor of Founder's Fest, the Discovery Center will have free admission on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you're able, we invite you to "Give Like Gage" by bringing a nonperishable food item to support Project Topeka. At 10 a.m. in Top City Build, join Devin Cooper, historian with Shawnee County Parks & Recreation to learn more about the fascinating story of Guilford and Lousia Gage. The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library Learn & Play Bus will be on site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
