We’re thrilled to announce that the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is once again a proud participant in the Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program—offering Kansas families FREE admission to explore some of the best attractions in the Sunflower State!

The 2025 season runs from July 12 through August 3, and it’s your family’s ticket to a summer of fun, learning, and adventure. All Kansas students—from Pre-K through 12th grade—can participate, including public, private, and homeschooled children. One adult per family group also receives free admission when visiting participating venues. The only thing you need is the free Sunflower Summer app, available on both Apple and Android devices.

Start Your Adventure at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center

Located in beautiful Gage Park, the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is a hands-on children’s museum where kids can explore science, nature, art, and so much more. This summer, you can start your Sunflower Summer adventures with us—dig in the sand, build with blocks, create art, and let imaginations soar. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime fan, Sunflower Summer is a perfect opportunity to explore the Discovery Center for free!
