Give the kids a truly memorable new year at Kansas Children’s Discovery Center’s famous Noon Year’s Eve, a joyful family fundraiser that supports museum access for all children. Ring in 2026 on December 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with full museum access, a silent disco, Kyler Carpenter performance, and Maker Space activities, all wrapped up with an epic ball drop and confetti countdown at noon! Each child will receive a party kit and wonderful memories of their special new year celebration. It’s all the fun of New Year’s Eve, specially designed for families.

Tickets for Noon Year’s Eve are $25 for adults and children, with a 10% discount for Discovery Center members, and includes all activities. Advance tickets are required. Proceeds from Noon Year’s Eve fund museum access programs to ensure rich and diverse museum experiences for every child.

Noon Year’s Eve also includes a morning of play at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, with over 30,000 square feet of indoor exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building, and more, plus the nationally-traveling Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy exhibit, which closes on January 25, 2026.

The Discovery Center is open only for Noon Year’s Eve ticket-holders on December 31. The museum is not open for general admission on New Year’s Eve.
