The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is committed to access for every child We strive to remove financial barriers that prevent play at our children’s museum. More than one in three Discovery Center admissions are free or donor subsidized.
Museums for All
Any Kansas family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of an EBT or WIC card can receive admission for up to four people for $3 each.
Library Passports
The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library has Kansas Children's Discovery Center Passports available for check-out.
Sliding Fee Scale Field Trips
Schools with a significant population of students receiving free or reduced cost lunches qualify for special field trip rates.
Social Service Memberships
Accessible memberships and other partnerships for local nonprofit organizations serving children who are homeless, at-risk, or have experienced abuse or neglect.

Donated Passes
We believe sharing is an important part of play, and being a good community partner. The Discovery Center donates admission passes to nonprofit community events for fundraising auctions, door prizes and other purposes.
