Join Nancy Nelson, Early Childhood Educator from the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center this great at-home activity designed for our Sensory-Friendly Sunday families! Sensory-Friendly Sundays is our program for children who have autism spectrum disorders and their families. When the museum is open, Sensory-Friendly Sunday sessions are held on the second Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. The sessions are always free, and allow children to play in a safe and understanding environment where the lights and sounds are kept low and fun activities are designed just for them.
