Huge thank you to the amazing students from Washburn University who joined us for The Big Event and spent their day giving back at the Discovery Center! From tackling spring outdoor cleanup and picking up leaves, to wiping down Toddler Town and the Music Garden, your hard work made a big impact on our space and the families we serve. And we love that you embraced what we are all about. You even took time to teach a visitor how to play chess, because around here, we know that play is serious work too.  We are so grateful for your energy, care, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
