Thank You, Exhibit Volunteers!

Our amazing exhibit volunteer team moved the final traveling exhibit out of the current building!

Packing up a great traveling exhibit is always bittersweet, but Thomas and Friends: Explore the Rails! was an extra special exhibit transition because it marks the final traveling exhibit in the Discovery Center’s Multimedia Gallery. This space will now transition into a permanent exhibit, Top City Build, and traveling exhibits will now be hosted in a bigger and better traveling exhibit gallery as part of the Building Discovery Expansion.

As always, exhibit volunteers made the magic happen! A huge thank you to volunteers Larry Pierce, Pat Pierce and John Sutton, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, and the Evergy Green Team who really went above and beyond! We truly could not bring nationally traveling exhibits to families without these volunteers!
