Volunteer Spotlight: Diana

Washburn Rural junior Diana Wolgast is one of our wonderful volunteers who brings positivity and energy to the Discovery Center. In just 8 short months, Diana has already given over 50 hours of her time and counting. She loves volunteering here because of the great team atmosphere, describing it as a positive, not stressful environment. One of her favorite things is when her twin sister joins her to help tidy up the tree house and pirate ship. Teamwork runs in the family!

Diana is also someone who jumps right in. When she sees something that needs to be done, she simply does it. We are especially grateful for how often she signs up to help out at our monthly Family Free Nights, always showing up as a friendly, helpful face for our guests.
