Volunteer Spotlight: Wrylie

Wrylie Guffey is one of our incredible volunteers who has been supporting the Discovery Center since 2024. Wrylie brings a unique blend of skilled work and hands-on knowledge to our volunteer team, especially when it comes to traveling exhibit set-ups and tear-downs. When something needs to be built, fixed, or figured out, Wrylie is often our go-to person, and we are incredibly grateful for her expertise and willingness to step in.

Wrylie is known for always taking initiative and being a true team player. We so appreciate how Wrylie jumps in and gets things done, often going above and beyond what’s expected. Her reliability, problem-solving skills, and readiness to take on special building or maintenance projects make a huge difference behind the scenes and do not go unnoticed.
