Come play on Black Friday, November 25 at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy a special storytime with the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., brought to you from our friends from Kansas Ballet.
On Black Friday, all new memberships and renewals are 10% off. Become a member on Friday, November 25 for a great deal on a full year of serious fun! Members get unlimited visits to the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, invitations to member’s only events, and provide the financial support needed for new exhibits and programs. Funds raised from memberships also help children in need, who would otherwise be unable to play due to a medical condition, limited finances, or family situation.
Visitors on Black Friday can also visit Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites, a special exhibit at the Discovery Center through January 2, 2023. Storyland immerses children and adults in favorite picture books, from the gardens of The Tale of Peter Rabbit to the urban snowscape of The Snowy Day and the tropical island of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!
Regular admission applies. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, special space for babies and toddlers, and a 4.5-acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
