What is Museums for All?

Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) to encourage increased and regular museum attendance by low-income and underserved families. The Kansas Children's Discovery Center is the first cultural institution in the state of Kansas to sign on to this innovative community engagement initiative.

Any Kansas family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of an EBT card (known as the Benefits Card) or a WIC card can simply present the card or ID to receive admission for up to four people for $3 each.

There must be at least one adult and one child 15 years old or younger to qualify for the Museums for All admission rate. Any Kansas EBT card (known as the Benefits card) or WIC cardholder is eligible for the Museums for All admission rate to Kansas Children's Discovery Center, anytime during regular hours of operation and during other special member events. A Kansas EBT or WIC card holder can visit Kansas Children's Discovery Center as many times as they like and receive the Museums for All rate each time.

The Kansas Children's Discovery Center believes every child deserves rich and diverse museum experiences. We are committed to ensuring accessibility for every family.
