Snow-Ventures Opening Day!

Dive into a winter wonderland in Snow-Ventures, a winter fun exhibit at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center! Visitors will glide across a special sock ice skating rink, run a penguin rescue, operate a winter market, build with icy blocks, and learn some seriously cool science! This special exhibit created by the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center will be open November 18, 2021 to February 6, 2022.

Regular admission applies, which is $9 for children and adults, $8 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom. Masks are currently required indoors for all guests ages 2 and up.

Spooky Science: Pumpkin Dissection!

Learn and play with spoooooky science on Saturday, October 31 at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center. Dissect and explore a pumpkin at 2pm for messy, gooey fun. Family-friendly costumes are welcome!

Join us for family yoga at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center on Saturday, November 25 at 10 a.m. This fun class will be facilitated by local yoga instructor and friend of the Discovery Center Kathy Damron.
