The kids are the heroes in this story. Our donors make it possible for us to celebrate children. This year, we started a new program to serve the more than 644 children in foster care here in Shawnee County because of abuse or neglect. More than one in ten of our admissions are free or subsidized based on need. We receive no ongoing government support. Our donors make this work possible.
