Join us for Beyond the ABC’s: Getting Ready for Kindergarten a free workshop facilitated by Family Service and Guidance Center held at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center on August 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. The workshop will cover skills that will help children and their families thrive in the transition to kindergarten. Planning and preparing for the challenges that children and parents experience as a result of the new separation can make the first few days easier. Parents will learn about ways to help their child build the social, behavioral and academic skills that will help them in the classroom. The workshop is free but registration is required.
