Community Art Design Youth Input Session with Aisha Imani Sanaa and Vivian Bluett @ Kansas Children's Discovery Center

Visual artists Aisha Imani Sanaa and Vivian Bluett are designing an art image that highlights unity, community, change, and a better future for children and families. This image will be transformed into an interactive wall-sized puzzle as part of our summer exhibit honoring the 70th Anniversary Brown vs. Board of Education.

Want to get involved and share your thoughts?!

Stop by the artists’ design ideation station at the Discovery Center on Thursday, March 7th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tell the artists what future you dream of and want to live in. Share your thoughts about equity and unity in our community! The artists want the installation design to reflect the thoughts, hopes and ideas of local youth.

Regular admission applies, which is $9 for children and adults, $8 for seniors, and free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Museums for All admission for families receiving WIC or EBT is $3 for children and adults up to four people. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom and special space for babies and toddlers to explore.
