Please join us for a special teacher sneak peek of Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites, the nationally-traveling exhibit coming to The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center this fall! This free sneak peek event is Tuesday, September 27 from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Discovery Center in Gage Park. Snacks, beer, wine and fun giveaways are provided. All attendees will be entered into a drawing for a free field trip!
The exhibit transforms seven beloved and award-winning picture books into three-dimensional play and bilingual learning environments that highlight the six pre-reading skills defined by the Public Library Association and Association for Library Service to Children. Storyland engages visitors in storylines and literacy activities that lead them to discover that it’s never too early to develop a love of reading.
