Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, introducing solids? Bring baby and join us for Baby Feeding 101: a FREE Discovery Baby workshop. Get your feeding questions answered with Dr. Alisha Delgado from TARC’s Birth-3 program and Feeding Clinic Coordinator. Learn how to read baby’s cues during their feeds and learn what those cues mean. Troubleshoot concerns and get tips on breastfeeding at work, baby weight gain, and early nutrition. This workshop will be offered on Monday, April 22 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center in Gage Park.

Skinned knees, bumps and bruises are a natural part of kids growing up, testing their abilities and exploring the world. But there are things we can do to ensure minor scrapes don’t turn into more serious injuries that can lead to disabilities or even death. Safe Kids Shawnee County will share safety tips for families to keep your children safe at home, at play and on the way.
