Puzzle Pieces: Each Piece Unique
On the second Sunday of each month from 11 am - 1 pm, the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center offers FREE admission to families with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The Puzzle Pieces program provides opportunities to enjoy family time at the Discovery Center in a safe, understanding environment, allows parents to network with one another, and will help families discover new resources available to them.
For more information about this program, please contact Dene' Mosier at firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-783-8300.
We thank Pediatric Associates and Target for their generous support that allows this program to take place at no cost families.
Introducing Lucy, the Therapy Dog!
Please welcome our newest and cutest Puzzle Pieces volunteer: Lucy the therapy dog! Lucy is a five year old golden Doodle, who celebrates her birthday on June 20. She is a certified therapy dog, trained through Loving Paws. She loves children and especially loves to be petted!
Lucy lives with her parents and has one brother, Charlie Brown, who is nine months old. Lucy and her trainer, Dr. Ximena M. Garcia, regularly attend Puzzle Pieces. Please stop by and say "Hi" and introduce yourself to Lucy!
