Hy-Vee Free Family Fun Night

Hy-Vee Free Family Fun Nights are extended hours events where the public is invited to play at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center for free. Thanks to generous support from Hy-Vee, local families can come to the museum with their caregivers or mentors at no cost to their families.

Participants enjoy educational play in The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center’s 15,000+ square feet of indoor exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom. Special programs designed by KCDC educators help children explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) goals.

Hy-Vee support enables the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center to pursue its goal of being accessible to everyone and gives children the opportunity to participate in high quality STEAM learning opportunities with caregivers. Limited space available.
