Marvelous Moon: Outdoor Trike Rover Challenge

Maneuver a Discovery Center trike through off-road obstacle course to test your moonscape driving skills on Thursday, July 25 at 10:30 and 1:30 at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center. This program is a part of Discovery Space, an out-of-this-world exhibit where you can climb aboard a rocket ship, contact mission control, dress up for a space race and learn about the science of space at the Discovery Center through August 14.

Discovery Space: 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

It’s the 50th anniversary of the moon landing on Saturday, July 20, and the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is celebrating with a whole day of lunar learning and celebration! At 10:30 AM, walk on eggy moon rocks on a science spacewalk, at 11:30 AM, make moon ooze, at 1:30 PM, complete a moon mission obstacle course, and at 2:30 PM, work together to create a giant clay moon!
