About the Patio
Umbrellas and tables create a perfect, shaded spot to enjoy a picnic, have a conversation, or play a game. Large, open-ended, colorful game boards encourage children to invent their own games using sidewalk chalk or natural elements. The patio provides a perfect view of the sandbox, Discovery Theatre and bike path.
Fun Facts
The patio was poured in 2011 and the tables, umbrellas and game boards were added in 2020 with support from Shawnee County Coronavirus Relief Funds for Community Based Programs.
